Manager - Macau

(2-year contract, renewable) [Ref.: M-M 22/02]


  • Responsible for the operations and growth of the Macau office in fundraising activities (online and offline); poverty alleviation and development education programmes in Macau
  • Coordinate and act as secretariat for the Board of Oxfam in Macau
  • Formulate long term operational plans for fundraising and agency programmes in Macau and leverage the development opportunities in Bay Area of Mainland China  
  • Manage the execution of fundraising activities and Macau poverty programmes
  • Supervise Macau office, including administration, human resources, and finance, with Operation Unit’s support
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Fundraising and Programme teams to achieve agreed goals
  • Develop Macau communication strategy and execution, working closely with related teams in Hong Kong.
  • Any other tasks as delegated by supervisor.



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, social service, or related areas
  • At least 8 years working experience with fundraising management exposure, partnership development
  • Proficient in oral and written English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua is a definite advantage
  • Analytical mind and experience with market development
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with senior executives and business leaders
  • Self-motivated and innovative mind-set
  • Outgoing personality, works well under pressure, and solid people and networking skills
  • Familiarity with Macau’s social, business, and administrative environments
  • Able to work under a roster, including working on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required.
  • Identification with Oxfam’s vision and mission is a must
