Programme Officer II - Macau

[Ref.: M-POII 22/01]


  • Deliver development education programmes (i.e. youth training programme, service-learning programme and workshops)
  • Act as a key contact point responsible for liaising with schools and parents
  • Assist in the management and execution of the Macau poverty programmes (i.e. monitor budget and evaluate programme outcomes)
  • Support the liaison work with collaborative partners; develop and explore potential partners (schools, community and religious organizations) in carrying out our poverty and education programmes
  • Support the development of new initiatives, curriculum and teaching materials



  • Degree holder with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in education and social work field
  • Experience in designing and conducting educational activities for primary and high school students, and parent-child
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and outgoing personality
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to be flexible
  • Able to work independently and multi-task, meet tight deadlines and be a good team player
  • Good communications skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Familiar with networks in NGOs and schools is a plus
  • Experience with design and editing software such as Illustrator, video editing is a plus
  • Able to work under a roster, including working on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as required
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
